WVU DAY OF SERVICE


Join your fellow Low Country Mountaineers during the Inaugural WVU Day of Service as we participate in a build for Charleston Habitat for Humanity.

Saturday, October 27th

12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

5340 Sea Watch Lane, North Charleston, SC 


General Information: 

  • Volunteers should report to the construction office in Joppa Way at 5340 Sea Watch Lane (North Charleston) for parking, welcome and instructions. There is limited parking, so please carpool if possible.

  • There will be water at the site, but volunteers are encouraged to bring extra so they stay hydrated. 

  • Please check the weather prior to your trip and wear plenty of sunscreen and bug spray. You MUST wear closed toe shoes. Also, be sure to wear your GOLD & BLUE! 

  • Charleston Habitat will provide the necessary tools on the job site; however, volunteers can bring their own if they prefer. We just ask that they are labeled with the volunteer’s first and last name.

  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age to participate as a volunteer with Charleston Habitat for Humanity.

  • No construction experience is needed. Charleston Habitat for Humanity will accommodate you based on your skill level/desires.

  • 12:00pm Welcome & Instructions

  • 12:15pm-3:30pm Afternoon Shift
